Nasze kolejne zadanie było na nas nie lada wyzwaniem. Naszym celem było stworzenie międzynarodowej książki kucharskiej oraz przewodnika turystycznego. Uczniowie musieli zebrać najpierw odpowiedni materiał, przetłumaczyć teksty, stworzyć strony tytułowe w zespołach międzynarodowych i przygotować film jako efekt końcowy.

Zadanie to polegało również na wykorzystaniu różnych aplikacji jak np: canva, animoto czy flippingbook. Nasze książki wyszły imponująco, zresztą sami oceńcie.

FINAŁ PROJEKTU W STYLU RAP

Ostatnim zadaniem naszego zespołu było podsumowanie naszego projektu. Tradycyjna prezentacja to nie dla nas. Wykorzystaliśmy aplikację Autorap i stworzyliśmy krótki utwór, który zaprezentował nasze działania projektowe.

Project achieved main goals

Project: “Show me where you live, I can tell you who you are”

We are certain that students as well as parents now understand better the importance of learning a foreign language and the importance of promoting values such as respect for other cultures, harmony and  tolerance.

In fact, we, teachers, recognise the importance of the students’ collaboration in this project. It was really important to strengthen students’ ICT skills, increasing students’ understanding and knowledge about tourism, history, culture and the traditions of other European countries.

Families have felt part of this project just like students did.

Even we, teachers, now feel the importance of our presence here.

Working during this pandemic situation from home and from school wasn’t easy, but it showed us that we can make everything we want when we feel motivated for it.

Parents now know that their children feel more self-confident, improved their knowledge of English and upgraded their information and communication technology skills.

At the beginning, the idea of this project was to get to know each other, our schools, the places we live in, our countries, food and monuments and cultural parts but now we understand that we created something bigger that the knowledge: we enlarged the friendship bond between teachers and artner students.

This project covered various topics and we learnt a lot about the countries  we live in but what is trully important is that these students shaped their spirit of teamwork and their ability to share developed materials with other people they didn’t know at the begining but now, they treat  as colleagues.

Final Students’ Survey Analyses

Project: “Show me where you live, I can tell you who you are”

The main purpose of this project has been achieved.

Thirty four students have participated in the Students Survey.

These Students from the sample recognised that they  have learnt much more about other cultures as well as their own culture. The students knowledge about Polish, Turkey and Portuguese countries has improved with this Etwinning Project.

88,2% of the students recognised the theater, literature, music and art as elements totally related with a counties’ culture.

Our E-dictionaries, Guides and Kahoot games were created with mixed country teams

97,1% of students agree that our E-dictionaries, Guides and Kahoot games were created with mixed country teams and these same 97,1% enjoyed being part of them, which is a very important fact since the main purpose of it is to get to know each other exchanging the experiences, the monuments, culture and the history of cities  and region knowledge, as well as to create a friendship bond between partner students.

100% of the students knows that they improved their knowledge about the other partners countries with the Project „Show me where you live, I can tell you who you are”. It is undeniable that this Project helped to open students’ ability to communicate in a foreign language, to share information and collaborate via virtual means, encouraging them to learn new points about other students aspects.

In general, students liked the IT activities made on the computer, choosing the Games with 52,9% of the responses and the songs and e-dictionaries with 11,8%.

97,1% of students  or 33 in 34 students admit that they will, for sure, participate in another Etwinning Project what shows that these students consider this experience positive and enriching.

Despite the Pandemic circumstances of this last year, the truth is that the students enjoyed being in this project and they worked collaboratively. This survey shows exactly this: the need of working as teams no matter the distance we are. We should all continue working and joining these projects.

Final Parents’ Survey Analyses

Project: “Show me where you live, I can tell you who you are”

There were thirty two parents who answered this Survey.

In general, according to the Parent’s Survey, it is obvious that the involvement of the students in this Project is enormous.

96,9% of the parents believe that the project contributed to broadening the cultural horizons of the child and 96,9% believes that the project contributed to encouraging the learning of the english language, as well.

One hundred per cent (100%) of the parents who answered the Survey abot the Project “Tell me where you live and I can tell you who you are” considers that it has been made in a new and a very dynamic way and that  this project contributed to develop the IT skills.

From a 0 to 5 rate, 57,6% of the parents agreed that the importance of students participating in this kind of Projects was very high and 97% of them believes that there should be more such projects at school.

One of the goals of this project is to increase student awareness of the different European cultures and customs of these countries and it was clearly achieved.

Students as well as parents now understand better the importance of learning a foreign language to communicate with each other across Europe and to make new friends. They also learnt that these kind of projects can promote values such as respect for other cultures, tolerance and the importance of openess in this project. They now know that their children feel more self-confident, improved their knowledge of English and the ability to use information and communication technologies used during the project from their friends from European countries.
